SomethingCool.com LLC is currently seeking applications for an hourly technician position. Qualified personnel will be responsible for several tasks, including but not limited to: diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing computers and networks. Personnel must be able to work in an unsupervised environment. Must have a deep understanding of the Windows Desktop Operating System (98, 2000, XP, and Vista), as well as Windows Server 2000, 2003 and 2008, and computer & networking hardware. Must be a fast learner and willing to learn new technologies. Occasional heavy lifting is required. Must have own transportation and be comfortable with going to clients’ premises for on-site consulting, including K-12 environments. Wages start at $13+ per hour, depending on background and performance. Position has the possibility to become full-time.
